As older generations began to ditch the long skirt and introduce the more modern mini skirt into their wardrobes, the mini skirt variations and styles have also started to grow. For the sake of comparison, the average mini skirt reaches at least around the mid-thigh, but there are also a variety of silhouettes and styles available in a shorter length compared to the average. With all of the varieties of mini skirts available out in the market today, learning what style best flatters your body type is essential too. The thickness of your legs, the way that the skirt hugs your hips and the way that the skirt flows down --- all of these has an effect on how you would look wearing your mini skirt. Obviously, you want to look flattering in all of your outfits, and this is where I come in!
For me, I personally like the fitted mini skirt style. Because the fitted mini-skirt clings on to the natural shape of a woman's body. Usually available in pencil skirts or stretch tube skirts, fitted mini skirt styles can be worn in a semi-casual and trendy workplaces. I would suggest that you try not to wear it on a business setting though, as it can look out of place when worn in most business offices.
Another one on my favorites list is the bubble skirt. Puffy and voluminous by nature, the bubble skirt can really attract attention to the lower half of the body. The high waisted bubble skirts are known for this effect because of the thickness and volume that it possesses.
With so many stylish mini skirts out there today, it can be hard to choose which one you should wear. My only advice is : if it looks good, feels good and the price is good, don't hesitate to pull the trigger on your purchase! Check out this very nice mini skirt from Daba Girl and let me know if this is something you would fancy to wear!
