How To Wear Denim Overalls And Not Look Like A Kid

If you have been paying attention to the fashion news lately, you would definitely notice how old fashion trends such as fringes and boot legged pants seem to come back strong after being forgotten by contemporary "fashionistas". In reality, the big brands that are selling us these products often dig deep into the olden days for fashion inspiration, and they happen to find gold mines in the form of old fashion trends such as these. Having said that, one fashion trend which seems to have come back really strong this season is the "overall". Mostly associated as "farmer's clothes" or as a country garment, contemporary overalls still possess that "farm" feel to it, but with a modern twist added by the combination clothes that we wear along with it.

Thought On Wearing Denim Overalls

Overalls have come into life again and so many people are quick to jump the bandwagon while it's hot. Practically considered a "onesie", the thing about overalls is that it can look good with so many things, while it can also look bad if worn alongside so many other things. Basically, an overall can give you a unique look that will turn towards you a lot of heads, but at the same time it can also make you look like you are going out to feed the hogs and the chickens (no, i am not joking this time!) If you want to look good while wearing overalls, you need to know some tips an tricks on how to wear it properly.

The possibilities in wearing overalls are endless, but the most obvious ones are sometimes the best ones. For example, wearing a white shirt along with your overall might look basic, but doing a little improvisation such as lowering one shoulder strap can  really make a lot of different. Also, you can opt to wear a sleeveless white tank top instead of the usual white shirt to make the look work for you, especially if you have nice arms and shoulders to show. You might not see the subtle difference at first, but lowering the shoulder strap to one side can really do wonders.

If you want to go for a more "fall" look, wear a sweater for your top instead of wearing a shirt. For more glam or more "punch" to your look, try wearing printed shirts instead of wearing the normal plain shirts. As for your foot wear, ankle boots or some times even high cut boots would look really good on this fashion setup. If you feel like doing it, you can even fold the end of your overall pants upwards to show more of your shoes and boots. Here is a very nice denim overalls from Yubs Shop that I am sure you will really love!
