Make Your Face Happy With Moisturizers

The cold and chilly weather can make your skin dry, as well as the heat of the sun during a hot summer day. If you only apply sunscreen to your face, you will be able to protect your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun but you will still suffer from dry and cracking skin. Sometimes, you will notice that your skin starts to peel off and the exposed parts really hurt a lot as it turns red. When this happens, it only means that your skin was drained dry and your skin cells are dead and dehydrated --- which is why you need to use face moisturizers.

The skin, particularly that in our face, is a very delicate part of our body. Because the face can be considered as the part that is more exposed to the sun than any other parts of our body, it needs ample protection and moisture in order to avoid peeling off and drying out. Yes, wearing protective clothing can help shield our body and skin, but will you be able to cover your face the way that you are able to cover your back or your legs? Even if you wear a hat or use an umbrella to shield of the sun, your face will still be exposed no matter what --- which is why you need to moisturize it in order for it to avoid drying itself out.

According to history, the earliest moisturizers used in Egypt were made from natural animal and plant ingredients. From animal fat, beeswax, oil. fruit, honey, vegetable and even nut oils and aloe vera, anything that can help improve and moisturize the skin were considered to be moisturizers. Unlike sun cream, moisturizers do seep deep into the skin to make sure that your skin is protected and will not dry out. If sun blocks act as the shield to protect you from the rays of the sun, moisturizers serve as the water to keep your skin cells from drying out and dying. This is why you can't rely on just sun block alone. Most people who put on sunblock without moisturizers  will attest to the fact that dry and peeling skin is a much more likely occurrence for them. So if you want to avoid this, try adding a good brand of moisturizer into your daily facial regimen.
