Wearing A Scarf For Fashion and Function

Scarves, also known as bandana, a pashmina, a hijab or a tichel are very popular and versatile accessories. Because they are worn by different cultures, religions, and even different climates, scarves are really something that has transcended the culture of people. Not only helping people keep themselves warm, scarves are also very underrated when it comes to their innate ability to dress up an outfit. Even a simple and basic dress or top can quickly turn into something novel, fresh and fashionable just by adding some scarf.

Needless to say, scarves are and have been worn fashionably and stylishly by both men and women. These days, there are so many varied scarf options out there that it can be difficult to choose which one to buy. Knowing how to choose the best scarf that fits your preferences and needs is important because it saves you not only time but money as well. Unused scarves can easily take up your closet space, and they end up as the first things to go when the time for freeing up some space comes.

Because scarves are available in all shapes and sizes, different colors and materials, your purchase should not be based on a practical or utilitarian purpose only. If you fancy the color, print and design of the scarf, you should also put that into consideration when you choose a piece to wear, and vice-versa. A scarf that looks good, but doesn't feel good on your skin or doesn't keep you warm enough is not something that you would be able to wear comfortably everyday. In the same way, a scarf that feels warm and comfortable but doesn't look good isn't something that you would be proud to wear around.

Simply put, there is no shortage of ways that one can wear a scarf. You can put it around your neck and let it fall around your shoulders if it is long enough. Or you can also put it around your head like a bandana if it's length is not too much. Scarves can make or break an outfit, such as a head scarf or a skinny scarf, so when you are hunting for a new pair of scarves make sure that you are choosing a different style of scarf in order to avoid redundancy. To help you start out, here are some pretty nice two-toned fur scarf that looks really fluffy and soft in the skin!
